Pakistan - 62 Years After Independence

It is 62 years, this 14th August, when Pakistan became independent from British rule. The majority of Muslims in British India, under the dynamic leadership of Muhammad Ali Jinnah, demanded a separate homeland on the basis of religion. The allegation was that the coexistence persists even after hundreds of years, Muslims and Hindus irrevocable differences were an obstacle to the continued existence of a single India have to.

The Muslims were afraid of the fact thatthey would be oppressed by the majority Hindus, when the British left India. Of course, had the Muslims against the Hindu dominated India for centuries, and they thought that the Hindus would have to pay a bill.

So what Pakistan has achieved over the past 62 years. There have been highs and lows. Let's talk about the lows first. Pakistan broke into two in 1971. The country still has a very high number of people still live below the poverty line. The population continues to grow at an alarming rate.Corruption is widespread in the society from top to bottom and is worsening by the day. Pakistan is still a Third World country and the pace of development has not kept pace with initial expectations. Inflation is sky rapidly. Crime is increasing and terrorism is the worst level in history. Relations with India and Afghanistan are extremely poor and foreign forces are only active near the border. Increasing internal unrest and riots and the army is increasingly involved in newDaily firefights.

Now is the time highs. Pakistan, despite all the hurdles that have managed to carry out nuclear tests and became a nuclear power station soon after the hostile neighbor, India conducted its nuclear tests. Pakistan army is one of the most professional armies in the world. She has performed not only defended the country against the big neighbor India, but also in many international campaigns sponsored by the United Nations.

The country has excellent relations with mostCountries in the world. Pakistani economists, doctors, engineers, IT professionals, academics, etc. have proven time and again to achieve themselves, both within and outside the country's huge success. The proposed economic plan, which was by a Pakistani economist, Mehboob-ul-Haq, originally from South Korea has lead to the growth in this country. Pakistani scientist, Dr Abdus Salam, fort, where Einstein was awarded in quantum physics and the left with the Nobel Prize. Pakistan has achieved manyWorld Title in sports such as cricket, tennis and squash.
